Or maybe just even have a warning system when it detects that the Asus temp service is terminated. However a very simple fix I have found is that restarting Argus Monitor even when BattleEye is running has no issues. Now I understand why Argus Monitors feel that this shouldn't be their problem, its beef between Asus and BattleEye. I emailed them again this week and they just clamped down and said "not our problem". I initially emailed a few months ago to let them know that their service is conflicting with BattleEye, submitted detailed logs upon request, and they said they would research further. Now the troubles with Argus Monitor support started.
I discovered this issue when I heard creaking coming from my soft tubing and realized upon relaunching Argus Monitor that my coolant temps were 56c!! Any time a game that uses BattleEye anti-cheat (PUBG, R6 Siege, Arma, Tarkov, etc.) the temp sensor detecting service is killed. Getting temp readings from Asus motherboards requires a insecure kernel service to run that is red-flagged by BattleEye. Problem: I've been using a t-sensor to adjust my fan curves based the temperature of my coolant. The problem in question is not purely Argus' Monitor fault but their nonchalance about the entire issue left a bad taste.
